Professor Perez-Luna gave us the defintion of what a chemical engineer was. He also explained to what areas in school that we have to be efficent in to become a chemical engineer.

Professor Perez-Luna gave us a better description and idea of what a chemical engineer does. He also gave examples of how an engineers job would differ from a scientists.

Professor Perez-Luna said that oil can be distilled & also that you have to change your approach when you are doing something on a large scale

Professor Luna gave us an in-depth definition of what a chemical engineer is. In order to excel in this field, one must do well in physics, math, and chemistry. He was a very nice and humorous guy...

Professor Perz-Luna was very informative. I liked the way he related making soup to the job of the chemical engineer; it helped me understand what chemical engineers do.

I appreciated the professor's informative discussion about the chemists and the chemical engineers. He gave me a better understanding of what my teacher might be like in the future. I really enjoyed that experience.

Professor Perez-Luna really made me think about becoming a chemical engineer since he said there was not an abundance of chemical engineers.

Dr. Perez-Luna explained that chemical engineering is the smallest group but has the highest pay. I'm glad he came to our school and taught me a little bit more about chemical engineering and the field itself.

Professor Perez-Luna not only gave us an overview of Chemical Engineering, he related to Chemisty AND other types of engineering as well.

I learned that the first graduate from IIT was and African-American

Dr. Perez Luna gave the SOE class an in depth description of his field of work chemical engineering.
He also described to us the process of breaking oil down into three resources that we use today. it was a very educational experience.

The professor provided us with proper information on the topic of his profession. He explained how to refine oil through distillation and how chemical engineers try to mass produce products on a large scale.

Professor Perez taught us that chemical engineers help mass produce items and reduce costs

From the trip to the Green Center, I have learned we can save energy by recycling and using those materials to make things. I did not know that using recycled materials could be so durable.
